I've spent more than 20 years working in music and sign language, but EverSign didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a belief that communication should bring people together - not leave people standing on the outside.
From a young age, music has been my way of connecting, expressing and making sense of the world. It has the power to lift us up, calm us down and bring us together.
Learning British Sign Language opened my eyes to a whole new world - a world where communication is visual, beautiful and so full of meaning. It changed the way I saw people and the way I wanted to teach.
Songs became stories. Hands became voices. Children who once felt quiet found their voice.
Confidence grew. Smiles appeared.
And most importantly - everyone belonged.
In schools, community groups, theatres and at home. Music and BSL together create connection, inclusion and joy.
I knew I wanted to share that magic with as many people as possible.
